Commonwealth Kokubu Logistics Pte Ltd (CKL) is a strategic partnership between Commonwealth Capital of Singapore (CCPL), KOKUBU Group Corp of Japan (KOKUBU), and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) of Japan — A significant expansion of the original partnership which brings together three industry leaders committed to advancing the standard of cold chain logistics services across Singapore and the broader Asian region.
Through this partnership, CKL is able to tap on CCPL’s deep expertise across the food ecosystem, KOKUBU’s extensive distribution networks and MOL’s global trade connectivity, which directly strengthens CKL's operations on the ground.
CKL operates an integrated multi-temperature logistics campus that supports Singapore’s chilled and frozen food supply. Across 2 sites in Singapore, CKL offers up to 100,000 pallet positions spanning ambient, air-conditioned, chilled and frozen environments. CKL continues to invest in digitalisation, technology, and energy-efficient systems, while developing automation capabilities to enhance throughput, accuracy, and operational resilience. These investments support CKL’s next phase of growth and its continued contribution to Singapore’s food resilience and the region’s growing demand for modern cold-chain infrastructure.
CKL’s core strength lies in its end-to-end cold chain execution — from inbound freight management to warehousing, inventory control, and last-mile delivery. Specialising in efficient and cost-effective logistics solution, CKL ensures full cold chain compliance from suppliers at source, whether by sea or air, through to the kitchen. This farm-to-fork capability is underpinned by real-time inventory visibility, post-event reporting, and a strong track record of regulatory compliance.
CKL's senior management team brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience managing supply chain and distribution operations for major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands across Singapore, ASEAN, and Japan.
